1. To get started, if you don’t see your desired event on the home page, find it using the search bar on the top right side of the page to look up a specific artist, band, team, event name, or venue.
2. From there, you’ll be taken to the event page where you can use various filters (month, city, day of the week, time of day) available on the left side of the page to find the precise ticket listing you need, or scroll down to find the date you’re looking for.
3. Click the red “Tickets” button to continue on to the next step in the buying process.
4. The next screen houses the production page containing the venue’s seating chart alongside a breakdown of ticket listings for the chosen event. Narrow down the tickets shown in the table on the left by selecting the sections on the map you’re interested in or using the price sliders to only show tickets within a certain range. On this page, you can sort by price (low to high, high to low, specific range), section, row, or quantity.
5. Once you’ve found the tickets you’d like to purchase, select the quantity of tickets you need, and then click the red “Buy” button to proceed to checkout.
6. The checkout window contains the order summary on the left side of the page. Review this information which includes:
- Complete event information, and ticket details regarding section, row, any special notes from the seller, price per ticket, and the quantity you have selected, which can still be adjusted prior to finalizing the order.
7. When ready, returning customers can log in using your previously established email address and password, while new customers can create a temporary account by entering a valid email address to create a Vivid Seats account. A password will be created at a later step.
8. Once logged in, you’ll be taken to the final checkout screen. On this page, you’ll find the order summary again on the left. In addition to the ticket details, you’ll also find:
- A full breakdown of charges, which includes the ticket price, service charge, shipping fee, and total price you will be charged.
- At this step, any promo codes or gift cards can be applied to the order as well.
9. Select your delivery country, preferred delivery method (from the options available), shipping address, and payment method.
10. Thoroughly review all information on this page prior to finalizing the order. All sales are final. Check the box agreeing to Vivid Seats terms and conditions, and once you’ve clicked the “Place Order” button, your credit card or PayPal account will be charged the total price listed for your order.
11. Upon placing the order, an order summary will be sent to the email address associated with your account. The email will contain your unique order number and the order details. It is important to note that all orders placed at Vivid Seats are considered requests until the seller confirms the tickets’ availability, which usually happens within hours of the order being placed.
