After a two year touring hiatus, Banks is hitting the road, announcing on Monday 2019 tour dates coinciding with the upcoming release of her new album, III.
The 30-year-old Orange County native will hit the road this fall--following a July performance in Chicago--with 23 concerts including performances at Boston's House of Blues, The Masonic in San Francisco and the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles. She made the announcement via Twitter:
Supporting act, Kevin Garrett, will be joining the Banks 2019 tour, which will wrap up in Miami with an Oct. 19 show at The Fillmore.
Banks last toured in 2017 in conjunction with the release of her second album, The Altar, which peaked at No. 17 on the Billboard 200 and features "Gemini Feed," "Mind Games" and "To the Hilt." Her 2014 debut studio album, Goddess, was well received by both fans and critics.
The 2019 tour should showcase a mix of songs from her latest albums along with classics that have fan base has grown to love. Seeing "Hernameisbanks" live is a can't-miss experience for anyone who has enjoyed her music over the last five years.
