Nothing screams an American summer night like cheering on the local baseball team at the stadium. Except perhaps singing and dancing along to the sounds of the Piano Man in the very same venue.
Billy Joel has announced 2019 tour dates at a half-dozen MLB baseball stadiums throughout the summer.
Joel will hit Phoenix (Chase Field--Arizona Diamondbacks), Milwaukee (Miller Park--Brewers), Philadelphia (Citizens Bank Park--Phillies), Baltimore (Camden Yards--Orioles), Denver (Coors Field--Colorado Rockies), Boston (Fenway Park--Red Sox) and Globe Life Park (Arlington, Texas--Texas Rangers) as part of his recently announced tour dates for 2019.
The only ones more ecstatic than Billy Joel fans about the news might be the MLB teams themselves, many of which will welcome Joel for the first time.
“Hosting legendary artist Billy Joel at our ballpark for the first time ever is very exciting for us,” said Rockies COO Greg Feasel.
Joel's concert at Camden Yards marks the first ever show at the venue.
Fans attending the Billy Joel tour 2019 can expect to hear classics like "Lullabye (Goodnight, My Angel)", "New York State of Mind" and of course, "Piano Man."
