On March 29, Nashville’s annual CMA Music Festival revealed the full lineup of performers for its 2016 installment. Nissan Stadium Headliners Round Out Four Days of CMA Fest 2016 Entertainment
The centerpiece of CMA Fest 2016 will be Nissan Stadium, where all the top artists in the lineup are scheduled to perform over the course of the weekend. Notable on the lineup are those who’ve dropped new albums in the last few months, including heavyweights Blake Shelton and Carrie Underwood. In particular, Underwood’s long-awaited album, “Storyteller,” marked her first release of new music in three years when it dropped last October.
Other Nissan Stadium headliners, including Keith Urban, Dierks Bentley, Cole Swindell, and Florida Georgia Line, are all expected to release new music later in 2016. Most of it will be out in time for CMA Fest 2016.
In addition to the performances at Nissan Stadium, fans attending CMA Fest 2016 will have the chance to experience a wide range of country music-centric events around Nashville during this year’s festival. Several small free stages will host musicians across the city, and the ever-popular Fan Fair X will let fans get a close glimpse of their favorite performers inside the Music City Center.
