Love him or hate him, the numbers show that Eminem is still that guy. As with anything hes ever released, Eminems latest album Revival has been met with polarizing reviews, and in typical Em fashion, has spiraled into somewhat of a feud with Joe Budden and a possibly diss track to go with it.Nothings changed, it seems, over the past 20 years, for Eminem. He was the fourth-highest selling artist in the world in terms of pure album sales over the past decade, and in 2017, hes already headlining at least five of this summers biggest festivals.Eminem is one of the headliners for Coachella, Boston Calling, Bonnaroo, Governors Ball, and now Firefly as well.
The Firefly lineup is one of the most impressive of the year, particularly for hip hop fans, as it includes Em, Kendrick Lamar and Lil Wayne, who, depending on who you ask, may be the three best rappers of their generation.Yesterday, it was also announced that Eminem is the most listened to artist amongst gym goers. Spotify released its list of most popular workout tracks, and two of Slim Shadys classics made the list:
