The Epik High 2022 tour is official.
The Epik High tour in 2022 will kick off March 1 at Seattle's Showbox SoDo and hit most major U.S. metropolitan areas as well as Vancouver and Calgary. In total, Epik High announced 29 concert tour stops in total.
The popular South Korean hip-hop trio is calling the tour Epik High Is Here, a nod to the group's new double album. The just-released first half, Epik High Is Here, Part 1, features a number of diverse artists including K-pop heavyweight CL, rising rapper Woo and Kim Sawol, the South Korean folk and rock singer-songwriter.
In 2020, Epik High was set to perform at Coachella and embark on a world tour.
However, the Covid-19 pandemic forced the cancellation of Coachella and an Epik High world tour, leaving Epik High's fan base uncertain when they'd see another live performance.
A mainstay in South Korea's music scene, Epik High has had a long career spanning nearly two decades in a crowded South Korean entertainment scene. They didn't gain fame immediately upon their official debut in 2003, but soon the trio uprooted South Korea's hip-hop scene with their experimental, collaborative approach to alternative hip-hop.
