Fugees Announce Reunion Tour

September 22, 2021 by Madison Marx

Fugees Tour Dates 2021

The Fugees are back.

The iconic hip-hop group— made up of Ms. Lauryn Hill, Wyclef Jean and Pras Michael— are reuniting for their first world tour in 25 years, and their first live performance together in 15 years.

The group's upcoming 12-city reunion tour will celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Fugees' Grammy-winning sophomore album The Score. The Fugees reunion tour kicks off Sept. 22 with a pop-up show in New York City at Pier 17. Following their Sept. 22 show, the Fugees tour resumes Nov. 2 at the United Center in Chicago and will continue in major U.S. cities including Los Angeles, Miami, Washington, D.C., and more. The Fugees world tour will conclude in Africa with shows in Nigeria and Ghana.

"The Fugees have a complex but impactful history," Hill said in a press release about the upcoming world tour. "I decided to honor this significant project, its anniversary, and the fans who appreciated the music by creating a peaceful platform where we could unite, perform the music we loved, and set an example of reconciliation for the world."

Originally known as Tranzlator Crew, the Fugees released The Score in 1996, which was the group's final studio album. The iconic album produced a number of hit singles, including "Ready Or Not," "Killing Me Softly," "Fu-Gee-La," and more.
