Tour Announcement
On March 17, acclaimed American singer-songwriters Matt Nathanson and Phillip Phillips announced plans to join forces for a huge co-headlining tour in the summer of 2016. The venture will cover more than 30 cities across the U.S. from June through August. Opening acts will include pop duo A Great Big World and singer-songwriter Eric Hutchinson.

Nathanson and Phillips to Support New, Forthcoming Albums with 2016 Live Shows
Both Nathanson and Phillips are going on the road in 2016 to support new material, as reported by Billboard. Last year Nathanson dropped his ninth studio album, “Show Me Your Fangs.” The record came out on Oct. 2 and peaked at No. 43 on the Billboard 200 albums chart. It produced three singles, including “Gold in the Summertime.”
Meanwhile, Phillip Phillips came out with his sophomore album, “Behind the Light,” back in 2014. He’s reportedly working on his third studio album, but as of March 18 he has not set a release date or introduced any new singles. He may test out new material on the road during the upcoming dates with Nathanson, though.
