Simone Biles GOAT tour
Some of Simone Biles' greatest performance have taken place far from her birth place of Texas: China for the 2014 World Championships, Rio for the 2016 Olympics and Germany for the 2019 World Championships.
Now the superstar gymnast—largely regarded as the best the sport has ever seen—is bringing her high-flying gymnastics routines much closer to home.
The Wall Street Journal reported on Sunday that Biles would be embarking on a 35-city tour following the Olympics in Tokyo, with a stop in her home town of Fort Worth.
She's calling the tour the Gold Over America Tour, a nod to the "G.O.A.T." acronym that many have bestowed on the highly decorated athlete who captured her seventh all-around national title at the U.S. championships on Sunday.
The tour will launch in September with a performance at the Tucson Arena. Biles will make stops at the Staples Center (Los Angeles), Capital One Arena (Washington) and Barclays Center (Brooklyn) before wrapping up at Boston's TD Garden on Nov. 7.
According to the Wall Street Journal, Biles will bring along other female gymnasts, including Laurie Hernandez and Katelyn Ohashi.
Vivid Seats will have full Simone Biles tour dates and ticket information for the Gold Over America Tour.
