The Vivid Seats Guide to Free Livestreaming Virtual Concerts and Living Room Concerts

March 16, 2020 by Stephen Spiewak

Livestreaming Online Concerts

Virtual Concerts Live Streamed

With most live events on pause as the country confronts coronavirus, the next best thing to being at a real concert is to watch a live stream of a virtual concert.

Not only can fans of live music enjoy a concert live stream from home, but the price tag for most virtual concerts is tough to beat: free.

The concept isn’t entirely new (NPR virtual concerts have been popular for a while) but coronavirus/COVID-19 has made them more popular than ever.

During this concert shutdown, more and more artists are looking to livestream concerts to fans across a host of mediums: YouTube streams, Instagram Live, Facebook Live and more. Other bands, like Metallica, are dusting off videos of previous concerts and allowing fans to re-live the excitement of previous shows virtually.

In addition to individual artist livestreams, Billboard and Rolling Stone are coordinating virtual concerts.

Vivid Seats breaks down upcoming free online concerts to live stream below.
