The Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia opened in 1996, replacing the Spectrum as the area’s most prominent multipurpose arena. In addition to hosting numerous Philly sporting events, the Wells Fargo Center has been a leading destination for the world’s most prominent musical acts, among them Bruce Springsteen, Billy Joel, and many more.

Wells Fargo Center Concert Seating
When you’re seeing a concert live at the Wells Fargo Center, you’ll have about five different levels of seating from which to choose. Your best chance to be near the stage is the Floor Level, which is opened up for live music performances. You can also choose to sit in one of the permanent levels of the Wells Fargo Center seating chart, which includes the Lower Level, the Box Level, and the Upper Level.
Wells Fargo Center Floor Seating
If you choose to secure floor seats for Wells Fargo Center concerts, you may be able to select between reserved and general admission seating. If you think you’ll want to sit during the show, you should opt for reserved seats. Otherwise, you can select general admission for the chance to stand right in front of the stage.
Even if you’re farther back on the Floor Level, this area offers a great chance to experience your favorite world-renowned performers from a uniquely close spot.
Wells Fargo Center Lower Level Seating
Seating options in the Lower Level are the first to be split into tiered rows, which some fans prefer since they may be able to see the stage better. When you’re sitting on the sides of the stage, you’ll be particularly close to where the artist is performing.
If you’re sitting opposite the stage in the Lower Level, your view will be similar to this one:
Wells Fargo Center Box Level Seating
The Box Level is situated just behind the final row of the Lower Level, and it circles most of the arena floor. The level’s central location in the arena makes this one of the best deals for concerts, since you won’t need to pay premium prices for floor seats, but you’ll still be close to the stage.
Wells Fargo Center Upper Level Seating
Last up is the Upper Level, which sits in between two levels of private suites. The Upper Level seats along the sides of the arena give a similar view to the same sections in the Lower Levels, but you’ll of course be farther from the stage:
Typically the Upper Level seats in sections across from the stage are the most affordable because these are the farthest you can be from the performer. This can change from show to show, and many performers make an effort to perform closer to these fans with “B” stage setups.
