After spending the majority of 2012 trekking across North America in support of his most recent album, Wrecking Ball, the GRAMMY-winning Rock and Roll Hall of Famer will be taking the tour overseas for a long list of international shows. “The Boss” and company will launch the 2013 edition of the Wrecking Ball Tour at Australia’s Brisbane Entertainment Centre, March 14 and 16, followed by a trio of shows at Sydney’s Allphones Arena and Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena. He’ll close out the continent – and the month – at the Hanging Rock in Macedon, March 30-31, before heading off to Europe until the end of July. After a brief hiatus, Springsteen is scheduled to play in Rio de Janeiro on Sept. 15 in what is listed as the final show of the tour. Stay tuned for a possible addition of Bruce Springsteen concert dates.
Fans can secure seats at an upcoming show by perusing our stock of 2013 Bruce Springsteen tickets on sale now. The ever-touring rocker finished just behind Madonna last year in terms of the highest grossing 2012 tour according to Billboard. Bruce and the E Street Band logged 72 shows to earn an astounding $199 million. Notable stops included shows at Wrigley Field Chicago and New Jersey's MetLife Stadium.
In what will be his first tour without saxophonist Clarence Clemmons (who passed away earlier this year), Bruce Springsteen has announced he will tour the world next year with The E Street Band. The 62-year-old's official website confirmed that Bruce will be touring both the United States and Europe. 2012 Bruce Springsteen tickets go on sale for the first leg of The Boss' US Tour starting on January 27th for his two shows at the Izod Center in East Rutherford, NJ. Springsteen's initial stateside tour dates keep the E Street Band on the road through May 2nd. There are also rumors of Bruce playing MLB ballparks like Chicago's Wrigley Field in August or September. Considering it has been a full three years since the Magic Tour wrapped, fans will be ecstatic to see the blue-collar rocker back doing what he does best.
