2012 Big Station Spring Tour Hits the Road
Texas’ ever-evolving blues rocker and singer/songwriter Alejandro Escovedo announced the release of his 11th solo album, Big Station, and a release day performance at NYC's Bowery Ballroom has been set for June 5th. Following the record release performance, Escovedo will be hitting the road on an extensive US tour, so now’s the time to get your 2012 Big Station Spring tour tickets and see the highly-charged, critically acclaimed rocker light up the stage.
The Big Station Spring tour kicks off May 15th in Saint Louis, and the spring and summer trek travels through 27 American cities, followed by an 18-show European leg. Big Station follows Escovedo's critically-acclaimed 2010 album, Street Songs of Love, which earned rave reviews and debuted at #1 on the Billboard Heatseekers chart. The new album sees Escovedo’s pure energy filled with spirit and purpose, with its hard snap and sharp arrangements recalling the 60's and 70's rock he enjoyed in his youth. The 12-track set also features the Escovedo's first recording in Spanish, titled "Sabor a Mi.” Take a listen to the lead track from the record, "Man of the World," and get ready for a show to remember.
