Last year, superstar electronic DJ Bassnectar did things big. First, he dropped his latest studio effort, “Vava Vooom." Then he released a mixtape, “Freestyle,” before setting out around the world to play his incredible music for hundreds of thousands of fans. This time around he’d like to keep things a bit more intimate, so the superstar DJ has lined up a short 2013 tour of small venues that will start after he makes a coveted appearance at the 2013 Coachella Music Festival. The Coachella shows will be at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California, and Bassnectar is scheduled to appear on April 12th and 19th. After that, Bassnectar will play shows along the East Coast, along with opening acts like Michal Menert, Archnemesis, GriZ, and Up Until Now on select dates.
The 2013 Bassnectar tour is set to begin on April 24th at Burlington Memorial Auditorium in Burlington, VT. From there, he will hit up venues like The House of Blues in Boston, Massachusetts (4/25); Electric Factory in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (5/1); and the Tabernacle in Atlanta, Georgia (5/10,5/11). The final show of the series will take place at Track 29 in Chattanooga, Tennessee, on May 12th. Whether it’s the lights, the audience participation, or the music, nobody puts on a better performance and knows how to get the crowd going better than this freeform mastermind. Bassnectar Tickets are set to go on sale to the general public on February 8th and 9th, so make sure to claim yours as soon as possible to ensure your spot to bounce along with his electric soundscapes.
