Bullet for My Valentine Background Information
Four-piece Mallcore band from Bridgend, South Wales, Bullet for My Valentine was formed in 1998 under the name “Jeff Killed John”. The band originally performed Limp Bizkit, Metallica, and Nirvana covers.
Bullet for My Valentine opened for Guns N' Roses at 4 shows in NYC, at the Hammerstein Ballroom, in May 2006. The band was also the warm-up for Metallica and opened for Iron Maiden in June 2006.
During their 2006-2007 tour, the band performed two of their new songs for the first time: “Disappear” and “Scream, Aim, & Fire” as well as a cover of Creeping Death by Metallica.

In 2006, the band performed on the Van's Warped Tour. Bullet for My Valentine toured together with Escape The Fate and Eighteen Visions, and later with heavy metal legend Iron Maiden. The band was playing at Earthday Birthday 14 on April 28, 2007, in Orlando, Florida with many famous bands, including Papa Roach, Puddle of Mudd, Nonpoint, Sevendust, and more.
Bullet for My Valentine released “All These Things I Hate (Revolve Around Me)” as their new single in the United States to radio airways in January. They returned to the studio to record their follow up to The Poison. All of the instrumental work on the new release is already done, but the vocals will have to wait until the band finishes the tour across the US. The tour will continue all summer of 2007.
