Coachella has long been one of the most anticipated festivals in the U.S., as it annually heralds the beginning of another lengthy summer music festival season, and this year will be no different. The second weekend of Coachella 2015 will take place from April 17-19 at Empire Polo Field in Indio, Calif., bringing a second and final opportunity to see the festival's star-studded lineup perform on stage. This year's event has tabbed AC/DC, Jack White, and Drake as headliners, while Florence and the Machine, alt-J, Interpol, and more will be on hand as headliners. Secure your spot in the crowd early to enjoy the full range of offerings from this southern California festival, which features excellent art, food, and interactive events in addition to its acclaimed list of performers.
Coachella Music Festival Ticket Information
As in years past, Coachella 2015 will only issue weekend passes as wristbands. It's important to maintain the wristband throughout the course of this second weekend, as you may be refused entry at the front gates if the pass has been damaged or tampered with in any way.
Coachella Music Festival General Information
All performers will be expected to take the stage rain or shine throughout the weekend. Children under the age of five will not need a ticket to enter the festival. The list of Coachella prohibited items for 2015 includes the following: blankets, tents, chairs, flags, umbrellas, drinks or food purchased outside of Coachella, instruments, professional cameras, and recording devices. You will be able to bring non-professional cameras through the gates each day, and medium-sized backpacks, small beach towels, and sunscreen are also permitted. Attendees can also bring empty CamelBaks and refillable, non-metal water bottles to the festival. There will be refill stations throughout the festival and camping grounds.

Coachella Music Festival Parking Information
You can park for free at Empire Polo Field, with the restriction that your car must be off the festival grounds by 2 a.m. PST. You can also elect to purchase VIP parking for closer access to the venue, but be aware that everyone in your car must have VIP Coachella wristbands for access to the VIP parking area. Tailgating will be prohibited in all on-site lots. To avoid driving, you can also purchase a shuttle pass, which will travel to the festival grounds from many area hotels throughout the course of the weekend.
Coachella Music Festival Hotel Information
Many hotels, motels, and off-site campgrounds are located in the near vicinity of the grounds at Empire Polo Field. Many of these sites either are included in the festival's official shuttle service or offer independent shuttles to Coachella, but you should check before you make a reservation. Alternatively, you can stay at the festival all weekend with on-site camping. Coachella camping is only available for guests 18 and older, unless they are accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. There will be options for car, tent, and VIP camping for the duration of the second weekend.
Coachella Music Festival Gate Times
The music is expected to begin at 12 p.m. local time every day of Coachella's second weekend. Gates to the festival grounds will open roughly an hour ahead of that scheduled start time on Friday-Sunday. For those camping at Coachella, gates to the campgrounds will open at 9 a.m. on Thursday, April 16.
