Craig Morgan is a notable neotraditional country music singer. He is known for writing beautiful lyrics and focusing on traditional values and simple pleasures of life.
Before he became a famous country singer, Craig Morgan changed many jobs to support his family. He worked as a security guard, a construction worker, and a sheriff's deputy. Later he was singing demos for other songwriters and publishing companies.
Those demos led to releasing his first record (with Atlantic Records). The album was self-titled, Craig Morgan (released in 2000). Three years later, the musician signed with Broken Bow Records and released his second record entitled I Love It. It included the hit "Almost Home" that broke into the Top 10 and later received Morgan a Songwriter Achievement Award from the Nashville Songwriters Association International.
In 2005, the third album was released. My Kind of Livin' included the hit "That's What I Love About Sunday" that smashed the US country music charts. During four weeks it was a number one hit in the early 2005, and was later named the biggest country music song of the year according to Billboard. The most recent Craig Morgan’s album is entitled “Little Bit of Life”. The single “Tough” is now in top 40 on the US country music charts.
