About Danity Kane

Danity Kane is P. Diddy’s third attempt in creating a “band” on the third season of MTV’s Making the Band. The pop girl group signed to Bad Boy Records and released their first self-titled album in 2006. The album skyrocketed to the top of music charts with over one million copies sold in the U.S. alone. Their second album, Welcome to the Dollhouse, was released in March 2008. The title of the album reflects the girls feeling of being “trapped in a music box” when they were recording the album and has nothing to do with the independent film of the same name about the geeky and tragically sexually helpless Dawn Weiner (and from the album cover, Danity Kane is anything but tragically sexually frustrated).  more
