Considering the glowing list of acts that performed at last year’s inaugural Firefly Music Festival, the coordinators certainly selected an appropriate name for the event. And this year, the bar is being raised even higher. The 2013 Firefly Music Festival is scheduled to take place from June 21st through the 23rd at The Woodlands of Dover International Speedway in Dover, Delaware, and the headliners are some of the brightest stars in all of music. More than sixty acts will perform on four stages, and Red Hot Chili Peppers, Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers, Vampire Weekend, and Foster the People rest at the top of the bill. But there’s more than just sensational music for this affair, as the event will present great food venders, a wine garden, craft beers, and hot air balloon rides on site.
In addition to the headliners, the 2013 Firefly Music Festival lineup is set to feature marquee acts like Kendrick Lamar, Jim James, The Lumineers, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Ellie Goulding, Public Enemy, MGMT, Passion Pit, The Avett Brothers, Alabama Shakes, Dispatch, Calvin Harris, Public Enemy, Dr. Dog, Imagine Dragons, Amanda Palmer, Action Bronson, Dan Deacon, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, Grizzly Bear, Japandroids, Matt and Kim, The Joy Formidable, The Walkmen, White Panda, and more. 2013 Firefly Music Festival tickets are on sale now, so make sure to grab yours to experience this spectacular lineup live in person.
