Gigantour Tickets

The Gigantour logo was from an inspiration of The Terminator logo. Mustaine and Dave McRobb who is webmaster for Megadeth.com both designed the logo. The goals of the Gigantour tour include trying to cater for the taste of a wide base of fans of different taste of rock metal and also to introduce fans to less popular new metal bands. The second stage of the tour is thus dedicated to lesser known rock metal bands. Megadeth was formed in 1983 and since then has become a big name in the metal industry and have undertaken tours with other big names such as Iron Maiden and Anthrax. They have also played with some respected bands that might not have been so popular. Dave Mustaine is known to pick only bands for the Gigantour that he feels are among the best he has heard or played with. This hardly takes into account the umber of albums sold. Some of these bands include Dream Theater, Overkill and Nevermore who have a decent following in the metal world and are highly respected by members of other top bands. Dave Mustaine always tries to gather bands together for the Gigantour mainly because they are capable of giving a good show. Gigantour is still an opportunity for fans of different styles of metal to see high class performance from top bands of different metal styles all in one place with the focus on heavy metal.  less
