Hot Chip Headed to U.S. in 2013
Back in June, Grammy-nominated electronic superstars Hot Chip released their fifth studio effort, “In Our Heads,” to plenty of commercial and critical-acclaim. The album hit No.1 on the U.S. Dance/Electronic Albums Billboard Charts, and the band is still riding the wave of success into the New Year as they recently announced a small United States leg to their tour that will see them make an appearance at the 2013 Coachella Music Festival. The Brits will take to the stage at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California, on two separate weekends: April 13th & 20th. And built around the Coachella dates are four much-anticipated shows across the United States.
On March 25th the band will head to the New Orleans House of Blues along with Howling Hex; on April 9th they’ll hit up the Roseland Ballroom in New York with Tanlines and a DJ set by Crystal Ark; on April 10th they’ll play at the famous 9:30 Club in Washington, D.C., with the Crystal Ark; and on April 18th they’ll head to Sin City to play The Cosmopolitan, with Four Tet providing a DJ set.
