An unfortunate and untimely hip injury has resulted in the cancellation of all remaining dates for Lady Gaga’s 2013 Born This Way Ball Tour. The soft tissue tears to her labrum will require surgery to be repaired, as well as a significant amount of time to recover. The injury had originally resulted in the postponement of shows in Chicago, Detroit, and Ontario, but will now include all remaining dates on the tour, effective immediately.

Resident Mother Monster, Lady Gaga, made a big announcement via Twitter on Sept. 5, much to the delight of her Little Monsters. With the final show on her international tour set for Dec. 12, Gaga revealed 26 North American dates for the 2013 Born This Way Ball. The next installment will kick-off at Rogers Arena in Vancouver on Jan. 11 and will be followed by a string of 10 U.S. venues, before returning to Canada for shows in Toronto (Feb. 8) and Montreal (Feb. 11). Gaga will then hit a number of major Midwest and East Coast cities including, but not limited to, Chicago (Feb. 13), Detroit (Feb. 16), Philadelphia (Feb. 19), New York (Feb. 22), Boston (Feb. 27), Atlanta (March 11), and Miami (March 16), which was the final date released for now.

Gaga has already unveiled sketches of what she’ll call, 'The Monster Pit,' a general admission area reserved for Little Monsters who have arrived first, waited all night, and dressed to “Ball.”
At present, tickets are expected to go on sale on April 13th, and Gaga has confirmed dates for the tour's first leg in Asia to go through early June, then about 15 shows in Australia, ending in July. As far as Europe and North America, current plans have her touring Europe in August, followed by Latin America towards the end of the year, and then North America, from January 2013 into March. The Fame Monster has announced her initial tour dates for her long-rumored Born This Way Ball! According to a tweet from the internationally prominent pop star, Lady Gaga will be performing throughout Asia and Australia in May, June, and July. Official North America tour dates should be made public very soon with 2012 Lady Gaga tickets in the US and Canada scheduled to start going on sale on February 17th. Gaga has also said that the two-year tour will include 110 shows across multiple continents. The "Marry the Night” singer`s new tour will reportedly feature a castle-like set and a general admission VIP pit section in front of the stage.
