Motorhead: Metal?
Motorhead is not heavy metal. Motorhead is not speed metal. Motorhead is not even metal. Motorhead is simply rock and roll, according to lead singer, songwriter, and bassist- Lemmy. Although Motorhead has influenced the genres of metal and bands such as Judas Priest, the members do not consider themselves metal. They favor punk rock and used the energy from punk to create their own unique sound. Whether that sound combined speed with rock and roll to create or influence speed and thrash metal continues to be debated.

No Sleep Till Hammersmith solidified their standing as one of Britain’s best rock bands. Their most recent album, Motorizer, was released in August 2008. Motorhead tickets are found in the hands of punk rockers, metalheads, and rock and roll enthusiasts everywhere. Motorhead tour dates have slowed down a bit but that doesn’t mean what cant find cheap Motorhead tickets when the band does tour.
