Of Monsters and Men Announce 2013 North American Tour Dates

Behind the sweeping success of breakout hits, "Little Talks" and "Mountain Sound," the swift rise to stardom has been a whirlwind for Icelandic rockers, Of Monsters and Men. After forming in 2010, the band released an EP, but quickly followed it up with their debut album, My Head is an Animal, which was a critical and commercial success thanks to the aforementioned singles, as well as "Dirty Paws" and "King and Lionheart."

With a busy 2013 ahead, Of Monsters and Men tickets have quickly become a hot commodity, as the band announced shows in North American cities throughout May and June. Of Monsters and Men tour dates will keep the group overseas until April, when they’ll return stateside to perform at the sold-out Coachella Music Festival, April 12-14 and April 19-21, with an appearance in Las Vegas squeezed in between on April 17. The Of Monsters and Men North American dates will launch on May 12 in Vancouver, and will hit over 12 cities, ultimately wrapping up June 12 in Pittsburgh. The band also is scheduled to appear at Arkansas’ Wakarusa Music Festival, May 30-June 2, as well as New York’s Governors Ball, June 7-9 and at Bonnaroo in Manchester, Tenn., June 13-16.
