Passion Pit Continues Momentum into 2013
The Massachusetts natives have been picking up steam ever since their debut EP dropped in 2008, but 2012 turned out to be especially solid for indie rockers, Passion Pit. The release of their third album, Gossamer, produced what Rolling Stone called the third best song of 2012 in “Take a Walk.” It also received significant exposure via a national Taco Bell television commercial, in addition to the group’s first-ever Saturday Night Live gig. Subsequent singles like “I’ll Be Alright” and “Constant Conversations” also have earned critical praise helping to build momentum in 2013, when the band will be traveling the country for the remainder of their tour that began last November.
A number of shows are still on tap, so browse the listings above for 2013 Passion Pit tickets for a performance near you. February will be a busy month with stops at none other than Madison Square Garden, the Kool Haus in Toronto, Orpheum in Madison, Wis., and the Jesse Auditorium in Columbia, Mo. The final U.S. date slated for the year thus far will take place in Salt Lake City on March 2.
