Pepe Aguilar is one of the most popular ranchera music artists this world has produced. Pepe Aguilar is a Mexican, born to the actor singer Antonio Aguilar and spent his childhood in Puerto Rico. Pepe Aguilar is one of the tallest artists that the music industry has ever seen and is about 6 feet 5 inches tall. Pepe Aguilar made his singing debut in front of a huge Madison Square Garden audience in the year 1973 at a very tender age of 5 years. He joined the rock music band “Equs” as a teenager and this opened the gates for him as he got a chance ti perform in a CD.

Pepe Aguilar Con Tambora was the first album released by Pepe Aguilar in the year 1990 which saw him as a solo singer. This album was a runaway hit and gave him the celebrity status in Latin America and Mexico. The album “Por mujeres como tu ” released in 1998 sold more than two million copies and remained listed in the Billboard hits for more than a year. The album “Por una mujer bonita” got him the Latin Grammy Award for the year 2000. A number of CD's were released by him in the late 90's and he also turned as a producer and started to produce record labels.

Pepe Aguilar is the first Mexican singer to perform in the famous Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles as well as the Kodak Theater in Los Angeles. On the Mexican Independence day in the year 200433, Pepe Aguilar was awarded the symbolic keys to the Los Angeles city and more than 20,000 fans witnessed the most happening moment in his life. Pepe Aguilar signed a contract with Sony Music in 2004 and released an album “No soy de nadie” and recently he got the opportunity to sing the Mexican National Anthem in a major sports event.
