Puddle of Mudd is an American band in the Kansas City. They are very popular. They hit it off with their very first album titled "Come clean". It sold around 5 million copies. The band came into existence in 1933. The founding members of the band were: Sean Samon (bass guitar) Kenny Burkett (drums), Wes Scantlin (vocals) and Jimmy Allen (lead guitar).
The first album of the group was "Stuck". It was released by V&R records in 1994. There were seven original compositions in the album. PoM and E.J Rose produced it and it was recorded at the Red House studio in Kansas. The second album was released in 1997 by Hardknocks records. It was titled "Abrasive". There are 11 tracks in it. Jimmy Allen was not present in the release of the second album.
The band released its major album in 2001 titled "Come clean". The track "Control" climbed the popularity charts and it caught the attention of rock music lovers across the world. It was also declared the theme song for the WWE's survivor series 2001. Another track from the album is "Blurry". "Drift & die" is another track that was immensely popular with the rock lovers all over the world. Another track "she hates me" was a huge hit when it was released in 2002. The latest release is "Famous" in 2007. The album had "famous" and the acoustic version of "blurry". The title track was the official theme of the WWE one night stand in 2007. The track featured in WWE Smackdown vs. raw 2008.
