Tyler The Creator Announces Wolf and 2013 Tour Dates
We’ve all been waiting since 2012, but Tyler The Creator has finally announced that his latest studio album, “Wolf,” is hitting shelves across the country on April 2nd. The Odd Future front-man and precocious rapper/producer also announced that he will be hitting the road on a 2013 tour that will take him all over North America and Europe from March until April. The tour is set to begin in the United States at Newport Music Hall in Columbus, Ohio, on March 12th, and from there he’ll play nine more American Shows before heading to Europe. Some of the venues he’ll make stops at in the first U.S. leg are Cat’s Cradle in Carrboro, NC (3/16); U Street Music Hall in Washington, DC (3/18); Opera House in Toronto, ON (3/22); and Music Hall of Williamsburg in Brooklyn, NY (3/23).
After a brief, three-show run in Europe, Tyler The Creator will return to America at the beginning of April and play around the Southwest and Southwestern United States. The venues haven’t been announced yet, but he is known to be playing in Los Angeles, CA (4/02); San Antonio, TX (4/03); Albuquerque, NM (4/05); Seattle, WA (4/10); and Portland, OR (4/11). “Wolf” will be the Los Angeles native’s first release since his smash hit, “Goblin,” which was released back in 2011 and hit No.1 on both the Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop and Independent Albums charts. The news of the new material came along with three alternate covers for the album as well.
