About the PGA Championship

The PGA Championship is a golf tournament, which is held every year in the United States. It is organized by the Professional Golfers Association of America, and makes part of the PGA TOUR. It is typically played in August (the fourth weekend after the Open Championship), though in 2007 and 2008 it will be one week advanced. The PGA Championship is one of the 4 main male golf tournaments (the other three include the Masters, the US Open, and the Open Championship). The purse equaled 6.8 million US dollars (or 5.3 million euro) in 2006. We can only make predictions as to what it will be in 2007.
