The Sprint 500 were once held here at this track but with the recent ruling that only tracks that were more than a mile can hold such races, this track now plays host to the Dover 200 predominantly. With the front stretch extending for over 1.076 feet and being oval in shape with banks at 24 degrees at the turns, this track seemingly deserves the term ‘the monster mile’.
