Kroger 250 is one of the famous NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series that is usually held during spring time at the popular Martinsville Speedway. During the current 2008 season, the Kroger 250 race will be held on Saturday, March 29. The Martinsville Speedway which will host the current Kroger 250 race was first opened in 1947 and held the first NASCAR race in 1948. The oval shaped Speedway has circuit length of .526 miles and can seat 65,000 spectators. In the year 2007, Mike Skinner had won the Kroger 250 race title. Currently, Mike Skinner is driving the truck for the Bill Davis racing team and is expected to give a tough fight to defend his title. However, all eyes will be on Kyle Busch again, as he has won the recent Craftsman Truck Series held at Atlanta Motor Speedway, on March 7, 2008.
