n 2006, the Milwaukee Bucks set a new NBA record for the fewest team turnovers in one game after having committed just 2 turnovers in a 96-89 victorious game with the Indiana Pacers. But that was only the beginning. The Bucks also set a new NBA record with eleven 3-pointers in one quarter, and a record with fourteen 3-pointers in one half. Overall, they set a team record with eighteen 3-pointers in a 132-110 overwhelming victory over the Phoenix Suns.

The Milwaukee Bucks ended the 2006 Regular Season with a loss to the Washington Wizards, giving the latter a 40-42 record, and thus dropping the team to the eighth seed in the East. In the first round of the 2006 NBA Playoffs the Milwaukee Bucks lost to the Detroit Pistons. The only win for Milwaukee was in the playoff series, when they beat the Detroit Pistons 124-104. During 2006, some substantial changes were made to the team’s roster. Several key players were traded. T.J. Ford was traded to the Raptors for the forward Charlie Villanueva, the starting center Jamaal Magloire was traded to Portland for Steve Blake, Brian Skinner, and Ha Seung-Jin. It is questionable if the changes were made for good, however, the team finished the previous season with only 40 wins versus 42 losses, which constitutes only .488%.
