Minnesota Timberwolves Season UpdateIn 2006, the Minnesota Timberwolves traded the team’s forward Wally Szczerbiak, two centers Dwayne Jones and Michael Olowokandi to the Boston Celtics for the forward/guard Ricky Davis, the center Mark Blount, the forward Justin Reed, and the guard Marcus Banks. Separately, the T-Wolves traded Nikoloz Tskitishvili to Phoenix. They also selected Brandon Roy in the 2006 NBA draft. However, later he was traded to Portland for Randy Foye.
