BYU Announces 2012-13 Non-Conference Schedule

Eight home games and a big-time season-opening tournament highlight the non-conference portion of the 2012-13 BYU basketball schedule. Right off the bat, the Cougars will host Tennessee State (Nov. 9) and Georgia State (Nov. 13) as part of the 2012 Coaches vs. Cancer Classic, one of the biggest early-season tournaments in the country. Regardless of the outcome of both games, BYU will then travel to Brooklyn to compete in the tournament’s final rounds, Nov. 16-17, at the brand new Barclays Center. Participating teams include Florida State, Notre Dame, and Saint Joseph’s. Check out the Vivid Seats stock of 2012-13 BYU basketball tickets, which will include regular-season matchups and access to tickets for the postseason when the conference and NCAA tournaments start heating up.

Other notable non-conference games include home contests against Utah State (Dec. 5), Utah (Dec. 8), and Northern Arizona (Dec. 27), road battles at Iowa State (Dec. 1), Weber State (Dec. 15), and Baylor (Dec. 21), and two neutral site contests at EnergySolutions Arena in Salt Lake City versus Montana (Nov. 28) and Virginia Tech (Dec. 29).
