Colorado Background Information

The Colorado Buffaloes basketball team is a notable athletic program of the University of Colorado. Originally the teams name was the Silver Helmets and then the Frontiersmen. And the Buffaloes name was devised by one of its students Andrew Dickson, who offered this name in the college newspapers contest. So, since 1934 the Colorado athletic teams are commonly known as the Colorado Buffaloes. This year the Colorados mascot also appeared.
