The reigning conference champs are off to a solid start with just a handful of games remaining as a member of Conference USA. Fourth-year head coach, Josh Pastner, continues to keep the Memphis Tigers steered in the right direction, and that will be on full display next season when the program jumps to the BIG EAST, though it remains to be seen what the long-term plan is now that several teams have announced an imminent departure. For now, the Blue and Gray’s main concern is securing another NCAA Tournament bid, and with just a few weeks remaining on the 2012-13 Memphis Tigers basketball schedule, the squad is in a position to accomplish just that.
The Tigers played several marquee non-conference opponents to close games early on, including VCU, Minnesota, and current No. 1, Louisville, which are responsible for the team’s only three losses to date. Save for contests against Harvard (1/19) and Xavier (2/26), the remaining matchups will all be versus C-USA opponents. Pick up your 2012-13 Memphis Tigers basketball tickets today at Official Ticket Reseller, Vivid Seats, and reserve your place at FedEx Forum for home clashes against the likes of Tulsa (2/2), Central Florida (2/13), and UAB (3/9), among many others. Fans also can begin the shopping for seats at the Conference USA Tournament at Tulsa's BOK Center, March 13-16.
