Wake Forest Unveils Tentative 18-Game ACC Schedule

In preparation for the future expansion of the conference, this year’s ACC schedule has been upgraded by two games to 18 for the season. With added opportunities to catch your Demon Deacons in action, be sure to browse the Vivid Seats inventory for a great selection of 2012-13 Wake Forest basketball tickets available in our marketplace. Of the 18 league games, the Deacons are tentatively scheduled to host nine rivals including Virginia, Boston College, NC State, Duke, Florida State, Georgia Tech, Miami, Maryland, and Virginia Tech. The annual ACC Tournament will once again take place at the Greensboro Coliseum in North Carolina.

Looking to bounce back from a disappointing 13-18 campaign last season, Wake Forest returns two of the league’s top scorers in senior C.J. Harris and junior Travis McKie. Harris, who has served as team captain since his sophomore season, averaged 16.7 points per game, good for fourth in conference and enough to garner third team All-ACC honors. McKie was close behind with 16.1 points a game and earned honorable mention All-ACC accolades.
