2009 Arkansas State Indians Season Information

In 1999, the Arkansas State Indians began their season as a part of the Big West Conference. The team ranked 92nd out of 114 teams. In 2000, the Indians did even worse, winning only one game and losing 10, ranking them 113th out of 116.

In 2001, the Indians became part of the Sun Belt Conference; however, this year did not prove to be much more successful than the previous. The Indians only won two games and ranked 115th out of 117. In 2002 the Arkansas State Indians made a great comeback, rounding out their season with six wins and seven losses. In 2003, 2004, and 2005, the team records and ranks were up and down. In 2003 the Indians finished with a 5-7 season ranking 101st out of 118 teams. In 2004 the team won three games and lost eight, and in 2005 won six games and lost six games. 2005 has proved to be the Indian’s best season in the Sun Belt Conference. In 2007 the Indians finished their season with a 5-7 record. Arkansas State Indians and their coach Steve Roberts are ready for a season that is filled with the success in 2005.
