Central Florida Golden Knights Football Tickets

As the 2008 training season begins on March 24, 2008, the thoughts of the team are with Ereck Plancher, a 2007 player that was enrolled a semester early in the University of Central Florida since graduating from Naples Lely High School with honors. Ereck had experienced problems March 18th, 2008, after an off-season conditioning the day before the scheduled first day of spring practice. Opening had been postponed until the day after the Easter weekend. The team had a private memorial service in his remembrance. Players were able to share with each other the grief that they were experiencing surrounding this sad event. The University of Central Florida does not plan to take a less aggressive approach, other than the break in training on March 29th to attend the funeral for the fallen player. The Knights will be training to ensure gainful season. Head coach George O’Leary says that he is very happy with what he saw based on the spring practices for the 2009 NCAA football season.
