2009 Eastern Michigan Eagles Season Information

The Eagles is the name of the official football team of the Eastern Michigan University. They are a prominent name in the world of college football as they have won three NCAA Division II national championships and are currently in the NCAA Division 1-A national draft and the Mid-American Conference in the West Division. Their home field is Ford Field, downtown Detroit where they host the Collegiate Clash annually and play one home game. Derrick Gragg is the football team director. For Season 2008, they hosted Northwestern University where they were defeated in the home game at Fort Field. They have a sketchy status as they have frequently been in danger of losing their Division 1-A draw. However, Head Coach Jim Harkema has been instrumental in their resurrection and the Eagles continue to emerge strong.

The 2009 season begins in August 2008. They have 12 games in the season and they end the season by taking on Central Michigan Chippewas in November. Despite not being ranked high, they are expected to display some solid performances in the upcoming season.
