The Indiana Hoosiers have not had the best seasons in the last nine years. Their record wins are six, and hopefully improvement will come in the 2008 season. In 1999, the Indiana Hoosiers finished their season with a 4-7 record. In 2000, the team made no improvement. The Hoosiers won three games and lost eight, leaving them with a record of 76th out of 116 teams. The 2001 season was a slight improvement from the previous years. The team took a 5-6 record. Unfortunately, the improvement ended. In 2002, the Hoosiers again only won three games and lost nine.
2003 proved to be the worst season for the Indiana Hoosiers. After winning only two games, the Hoosiers ranked 98th out of 118. In 2004 through 2007, the team gradually increased after 2003’s season. In 2004, the team won three games and lost eight. In the 2005 season, the Hoosiers ended with a 4-7 record, and in 2006 had a similar record to the previous seasons of 5-7. In 2007, the Hoosiers set their best record yet. The team won six games and lost six, ranking them 66th out of 122. The Indiana Hoosiers coach and team are both ready for the 2008 season, hoping to continue their streak of seasonal improvement.
