In 2003, the team had slight déjà vu, ending their season with a 5-7 record like they did in 1999. In 2004, the fighting Irish were more successful, winning six games and losing six. In 2005, the team continued to build their success, concluding their season with a 9-3 record and ranking 16th out of 119 teams. In 2006 the team met their overall best record, again winning ten games and losing three; however, the team kept their same rank as they had in the previous season. In 2007 Notre Dame had their worst season of all, ending with a 3-9 record. Fighting Irish’s coach Charlie Weis, hopes that by starting off the right foot, his team with be well prepared for the 2008 season. Show your blue and gold pride!
