2009 Toledo Rockets Season Information

The Rockets are the NCAA Division 1 football team of the University of Toledo. They are members of the Mid-American Conference as part of the West Division. They have nine Mid-American Conference titles to their credit. The Rockets have won a record twelve consecutive matches from 1969 to 1971. The Rockets play at their home campus ground called the Glass Bowl Stadium. They also recently signed a two game series with the Ohio Buckeyes where their home field will be the Cleveland Browns Stadium. The Rockets had a highly satisfying 2008 season that ended by taking arch-rivals the Bowling Green Falcons in the Battle of I-75 and winning the Peace Pipe.

For the 2009 season the Rockets begin in August 2008 and after 12 games they end the season by taking on the Falcons once again for the Battle of I-75. The Rockets are expected to deliver and deliver well in the upcoming 2009 season.
