2008 Utah State Aggies Season Information
The Utah State Aggies are a team of change when it comes to which conference they belong to; however, when it comes to their statistics and rank, they both seem to be pretty unchanging. From 1999-2000, the Aggies were a part of the Big West Conference. In 1999 the team finished with a 4-7 record, which has proved to be their best considering it has only been met, never surpassed. In 2000 the team won only three games and lost eight, giving them a ranking of 91st out of 116. In 2001, the Utah State Aggies became an Independent Conference.
more From 2001 to 2002, the team held the same season record as they did in 1999.
In 2003, the Aggies joined the Sun Belt Conference. The team ended this season with a 3-9 record. In both 2004 and 2005, the Aggies concluded with a 3-8 record. However in 2005, the Utah State Aggies joined the WAC Conference. 2006 proved to be their worst season ever, winning only one game, ranking them 112th out of 119. Their next season in 2007 proved to be not much better, winning their last two games, giving them a record of 2-10. Head coach Brent Guy hopes that the winning of the last two games of the previous season will have left a slight spark for the upcoming 2008 season. Help cheer on your hometown Aggies to the start of a successful season.
