Cardinals News

Arians, Palmer Lead Cardinals into New Era

The Arizona Cardinals own one of the most daunting early-season schedules in the league in 2013, with four of the first six games on the road, but if anyone can lead the team through that tough stretch, it’s new head coach, Bruce Arians. But he won’t be the only Cardinals fresh face, as newly acquired Carson Palmer will step into the starting quarterback role to jumpstart an offense that has no shortage of playmakers like Pro-Bowl receiver Larry Fitzgerald, as well as Michael Floyd and Andre Roberts.

One storyline to look forward to on the Cardinals 2013 schedule is a Nov. 24 matchup with Arians’ former team, the Indianapolis Colts, in what is sure to be an emotional game in Glendale. Additionally, the Cardinals have likely circled a Dec. 8 home meeting with the St. Louis Rams, as the NFC West rivals have battled in some memorable close games as of late. Lastly, if all goes right, the Dec. 29 season finale against the defending NFC champion San Francisco 49ers could have playoff implications, so purchase Cardinals tickets from Vivid Seats and check out the exciting games at University of Phoenix Stadium this season.

Cardinals Open 2012 Season Strong

With a thrashing of the Philadelphia Eagles in week three, the Arizona Cardinals jumped out to a 3-0 mark and a cushy first-place spot atop the NFC South. Not only are they now one of only three teams (Houston and Atlanta) still undefeated, but the Cardinals are off to their best start in 38 years. Quarterback Kevin Kolb has been solid thus far anchoring the offense, and through three games, is 38-for-59 passing (428 yards) with four touchdowns for a passer rating of 108.6. Not surprisingly, his go-to receiver has been Larry Fitzgerald, who leads the team with 14 receptions for 181 yards and one touchdown.

A number of home games still remain on the slate, including six more in 2012, including AFC East foes, Miami (9/30) and Buffalo (10/14), division rivals San Francisco (10/29) and St. Louis (11/25), and NFC North opponents Detroit (12/16), and Chicago (12/23). You can find Arizona Cardinals tickets for all the great matchups all season long in the Vivid Seats marketplace available above.
