The Philadelphia Eagles is one of not too many NFL teams, which is capable of keeping a professionally staffed franchise each year and seems not to have a lot of disputes with players concerning their remuneration packages. The Eagles have been successful during the last few years and the tendency is likely to keep on.
The head coach of the team is Andy Reid. Reid clearly sees the need for quality linemen on both sides of the ball, and he tries to keep fresh sportsmen coming in.
The former player for Rams, wide receiver Kevin Curtis was signed and will be acting as a deep threat on offense. He will substitute the last season’s Donte’ Stallworth. Curtis is quite capable of making it a great season.
The Philadelphia Eagles also drafted expert players for the defense line, linebacker Takeo Spikes and defensive tackles Ian Scott and Montae Reagor. Other players chosen during the annual NFL draft pick include: Kevin Kolb from Houston, Victor Abiamiri from Notre Dame, Stewart Bradley from Nebraska, Tony Hunt from Penn State, C.J. Gaddis from Clemson, Brent Celek from Cincinnati, Rashad Barksdale from Albany, Nate Ilaoa from Hawaii.
This season, the franchise decided to let go QB Jeff Garcia. The losses on the defense line concern Dhani Jones and LBs Shawn Barber, CB Roderick Hood, DT Darwin Walker, S Michael Lewis.
Quarterback Donovan McNabb needs to have no injuries this season for the team to play well. The Eagles will also have an opportunity to get the victory in the Super Bowl when McNabb will try to be close to 100%.
The Eagles franchise will most probably play consistently again in 2007 and probably win the Dallas Cowboys in the NFC East. It is going to be a spectacular show. The records predicted are 11-5 and maybe the 1st prize in the NFC East.
