Lidstrom Leading Red Wings 2011-2012 Season

The Red Wings are in negotiations over building a new arena in Detroit, leaving fans with a limited number of chances to see the Wings take the ice at "The Joe" The Red Wings were able to return to the top of the Western Conference's Central Division last season, but fell to San Jose Sharks in seven games in the Conference Semi-Finals. Captain Nicklas Lidstrom, who turned forty-one this past April, is still performing at a high level for his club and even won his 7th Norris Trophy last year.  more
