Florida Panthers Midseason News - Feb 07The Florida Panthers finished the previous season with 37 wins, 34 losses, and 11 overtime losses, and thus they were placed fourth in their division. The team did not manage to qualify for the playoffs. At the end of June 2006, the Florida Panthers were once again involved in a blockbuster trade with the Vancouver Canucks, by sending Roberto Luongo, Lukas Krajicek, and a 6th-round draft pick in exchange for Alex Auld, Todd Bertuzzi, and Bryan Allen.
