Star-Studded Roster Ready to Lift Lid on 2012-13 Season
It was the talk of the league when the Minnesota Wild inked noteworthy free agents, Zach Parise and Ryan Suter, and now fans will finally get to watch it all play out when the NHL resumes Jan. 19. Now that the 2013 Minnesota Wild schedule has been re-worked, the squad will get to enjoy three straight home games to open the year, including contests against the Colorado Avalanche (Jan. 19), Dallas Stars (Jan. 20), and Nashville Predators (Jan. 22). Following two road showdowns at Detroit (Jan. 25) and St. Louis (Jan. 27), the Wild return to Xcel Energy Center to host the Columbus Blue Jackets (Jan. 29) and Chicago Blackhawks (Jan. 30).
If that seems like a lot of games in a very short period of time, it is, and the slate will not get any easier for any team as the postseason nears in May. Many of last year’s playoff teams are scheduled to come through town for a game or two, so be on the lookout for 2013 Minnesota Wild tickets for huge matchups like the March 30th or April 23rd showdowns with the defending champion Los Angeles Kings. The final home game will be against Edmonton on April 26, and the following night, Minnesota will travel to Colorado for their last game before the postseason begins.
