Chicago Rush is a very popular and exciting football team that plays in Arena Football League (AFL) and has a huge fan base.
Chicago Rush began its play as a team in spring of 2001. In 2005, Mike Ditka, who currently owns it, bought it. It is part of the central division of American Conference and competes in that division. Its headquarters is located in Rosemont, Illinois. The home arena, where they play all their home games, is known as Allstate Arena. Although, it has been only seven years since the foundation of Chicago Rush, they have been able to astonish many people with their amazing triumphs and successes. In their first season, they had a 7-7 record that was considered quite exceptional. They have been in every playoff since they started off as a team. On few occasions, they came close to qualifying for ArenaBowl Championship game but they kept on falling short.
Finally, the wait was over and Chicago Rush won their first Arenabowl title in 2006 when they defeated the Orlando Predators. In the same year, they also became the Conference Champions. Overall, they have won one ArenaBowl Championship, one Conference title, three Central Division titles and four wild card berths. Including the team honors, many individual players have received titles and awards for their brilliant skills and plays. A good team needs a good and cheerful mascot. The official Mascot of Chicago Rush football team is named Grabowski, a construction worker. It is a tribute to Chicago's blue collar. Due to its meaningful symbolism, it is very famous amongst the Chicago Rush team's fans.
